NutriCoach AI ("we", "our", "us") operates the NutriCoach AI mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information that you provide during onboarding:

• Name, age, gender
• Height, weight, and target weight
• Activity level and dietary preferences
• Allergies and health conditions
• Food preferences learned through chat interactions

We also generate a random device identifier (UUID) to associate your data. We do not collect your email, phone number, Apple ID, or any other personally identifiable information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate personalized meal plans and dietary recommendations
• To remember your food preferences and improve suggestions over time
• To calculate your daily calorie and macronutrient targets
• To provide contextual coaching through AI chat

3. Data Storage

Your profile data (age, weight, preferences) is stored locally on your device. Your chat interactions and learned food preferences are stored securely in our cloud database (Supabase) to provide a continuous coaching experience. Data is associated with your anonymous device ID, not your personal identity.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — to power AI coaching and meal planning. Your messages are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — to store conversation memories securely. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above to provide core App functionality.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you use the App. If you reset your profile within the App, all locally stored data is deleted. To request deletion of cloud-stored data, contact us at the email below.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure cloud infrastructure.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your stored data
• Request deletion of your data
• Reset your profile at any time through the App

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App.
